The United States² and Britain² listed the retained surgical gauze in surgeries as "never events" which means never should have happened events reflecting the will of the United States and Britain to completely eradicate retained surgical gauze incidents.

With the FDA approval of RFID detectable surgical gauze in America at the end of 2006, the potential safety hazards of surgery finally got a thorough and complete solution. The product will bring about revolutionary change in this field, and it firstly realized the management of the surgical gauze by computer. European Medicines Agency (EMA) approved this product in Europe in 2010.

 In 2009 the World Health Organization (WHO) recommended the RFID detectable surgical gauze to all over the world to reduce the incidents of retained surgical gauze and ensure the safety of patients³. RFID detectable surgical gauze is the preferred solution in more than 2,000 operating roomsin the US by 2011⁴, Including Mayo Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, Maryland Medical Center and so on.

In 2015, Medtronic, the world's largest medical equipment company got into this area through acquisitions.

In 2016, we became the world's fourth company and China’s only company which internally does research, development and manufacturing of the RFID detectable surgical gauze and Monitoring System.

Through multicenter clinical trials, the " RFID detectable surgical gauze " system is the only effective way to achieve "zero retained surgical items incidents"⁵.
